San Salvador Layover Tour Xpress Itinerary:
✔ When you arrive in El Salvador, a representative of ours will be waiting for you inside the international airport to accompany you throughout the immigration process and to manage the tax exemption. They will take you directly with your assigned tour guide.
✔ Our first place to visit is Plaza Gerardo Barrios, dedicated to one of the Central American leaders who fought for the union of the countries of the region. From here you will have impressive views of the National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
✔ Visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral. This is the third cathedral built in the same place because of earthquakes and fires. To one side of the cathedral is the point known as Kilometer 0, from where they begin to count distances across the country.
✔ We will visit the Plaza Francisco Morazan, here is the oldest monument of San Salvador, Here you will see the National Theater, an architectural jewel of San Salvador.
✔ The Plaza Libertad is the heart of San Salvador, from where the expansion of the city began, it is in front of the Rosario church, which is a unique building on the continent.
✔ El Rosario Church is a church that has a unique construction, on the outside it seems to be an abandoned factory, but upon entering you marvel at its stained glass windows on the ceiling and its modernist sculptures.
✔ After finishing our San Salvador layover tour, we will start our way back to the airport. On our way to the airport we will make a last stop to try the delicious typical dish of Salvadorans: Las Pupusas!
