You will visit the San Salvador Volcano, in the crater of the volcano is the El Boqueron National Park (or big mouth). In this park you can walk on a charming path surrounded by trees, flowers, birds, and beautiful landscapes of the city of San Salvador. You will walk around the crater of this sleeping volcano. After the tour of the volcano of San Salvador, we will continue with our Layover tour visiting the city. We will start in the modern part, we will visit the most characteristic monuments of San Salvador. Monuments such as El Salvador del Mundo, Monument to Reconciliation, Monument to revolution. Then we will enter the Historic center of San Salvador to better understand the lives of Salvadorans. In the Historic Center we will observe the splendor that visited El Salvador for a long time during the coffee-producing era. We will visit the open markets where Salvadorans live their day to day and visit the emblematic buildings of the city.
El Tunco Beach
We will leave the city of San Salvador during this tour, to begin our visit to the beaches of La Libertad. The beach is only 40 minutes from San Salvador. If time permits, we will visit the seafood market located on the pier of La Libertad. Our star destination to visit in the Salvadoran coasts is El Tunco Beach.
