August 30th 2022: Airport Pick up + Rainbow Slide, El boqueron, La Libertad Beaches
Aiport Pick up, After Airport Pick up, We will visit the volcano of San Salvador, on our way to the top we will pause to raise our adrenaline a little at Picnic Restaurant to do the Rainbow Slide, we will have a beautiful view of the city of Santa Tecla from here. We will continue to the top of the beautiful San Salvador Volcano, in El Boquerón National Park 5905 feet above sea level, we will have before us the crater of this sleeping giant, the deepest crater in the country, the tour is relaxing, among flowers and a climate nice. We will have beautiful views of the city of San Salvador. We will go down from the volcano and we will go to the Salvadoran coast, to know the volcanic sand beaches. We will make a stop at an authentic restaurant, visited by many locals: Ostrero Chepe Aleta, located on the banks of the El Palmar river, has captivated the locals for the unusual location of the restaurant and its delicious food. Later we will visit Playa El Zonte, famous for its perfect waves for surfing, full of a perfect contrast between local life, and beautiful hotels and restaurants. If we arrive during low tide, we can reach some of the volcanic rock caves located in the place, atthe end a stop at Playa El Tunco. Return to San Salvador.

September 1st 2022: Cinquera +Suchitoto + Cihuatán
We will leave San Salvador at 06.00 am, we will go to the small town of Cinquera, located 2 hours from San Salvador, next to the town there is a biological reserve that survived because of the civil war of the 80’s, within the forest located a guerrilla camp, which the army never managed to control during 12 years of armed conflict. Inside the forest there are still trenches, a clandestine hospital, a Vietnamese kitchen. We will be accompanied by a local guide who is a combatant who will tell us his story in what was once his battlefield, at the end of our tour we will visit Suchitoto, the city of colonial architecture and the best preserved in the country, it is known for the production of indigo, and for its beautiful church of Santa Lucia. optional after suchitoto Visit the archaeological site of Cihuatan, a walled acropolis, built by a civilization after the collapse of the Maya Maya, where one of the best
restored ball courts in the country is located.
